Katya began her swim career as a competitive swimmer for Mid Cities Arlington Swimming located in Texas from ages 5-14.  She has taught swim lessons for all ages and abilities for over 7 years.  Katya is American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified.

Lindsey has over 13 years of swim coaching/instructing experience. Lindsey has led a year-round swim team and is a certified USA Swim Coach. She is also American Red Cross Lifeguard certified and a Lifeguard Certification Trainer.  

Hayden grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and has been surfing and swimming since the age of 5. Hayden plans on attending trade school to become a welder starting this fall. and has worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor for 3 years. Hayden loves teaching swim!

Michelle is from El Salvador and started swimming when she was 5 years old! During college, Michelle moved to the states to join a college swim team in California. Michelle's favorite place to eat, workout and relax will always be the water!

Jenna is an Elementary School Art Teacher and loves to hike, camp, and swim! Jenna loves working with kids because she loves to see them grow and experience new things. Jenna is our Summer Camp Director!

Josh is a senior at NC State University studying International Relations and Finance. Josh Swam competitively for 8 years on both club and school teams. He loves the ocean, cliff jumping, and surfing. Josh hopes to instill a similar appreciation for swimming with his students. 

Angel is a Middle School Special Education Teacher in Raleigh! Angel loves being outside and taking care of his chickens! He is originally from Florida and really enjoy water sports and sharing his love of the ocean with others.

Brielle is currently taking a gap year to gain experience and apply to PA school. She has been swimming competitively on and off since kindergarten. One of her favorite things about swim lessons is helping kids get over their fear of the water and seeing how fun it is to play in it with their friends.

Michaela is originally from Florida and has been a Swim Instructor for over 5 years. Michaela has found a passion for working with swimmers of all ages and helping them grow confident and safe in the water. Michaela is also a certified Lifeguard!

Jimmy is from Louisville Kentucky. He started swimming and running when he was 8 years old. Jimmy is currently studying business at NC State University and running track. His favorite part of teaching swim lessons is seeing students excited when they learn something new!

Anna is currently a student at Western Carolina University and joins us during the summers to instruct and be apart of the summer camp team. Anna loves to swim, read and be outside. Anna says she loves swimming because it makes her feel like a mermaid.

Bianca is a kinesiology student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Bianca loves working out, spending time with her pets, and being outside. She loves being on the water and her favorite activity is paddle boarding!

Kelis grew up in Raleigh NC and started swimming when she was 7 years old. She became a swim instructor at the age of 15 and has loved teaching children ever since. She plans to go to NC State in the fall!

Coach Haley grew up in Georgia but  now calls Raleigh home! Haley has been a swimmer since she was 8 and has been a swim instructor for 2 years. She is currently enrolled in the school of nursing at Western Carolina University and joins RSS during the summer for instructing!

Olivia  is our lifeguard! She was originally born in Florida but has lived in North Carolina for most of her life. She has a younger brother and two dogs, Daphne and Datsyuk! Olivia grew up playing and watching sports. Olivia currently attends boarding school in Connecticut where she plays hockey, rows, and goes to school.

 Bryson is a sophomore at Enloe High School and has been swimming since the age of 6! Bryson enjoys playing both football and baseball. He loves swimming because it’s an amazing way to relax.
